This 1-one-1 course is great for those wishing to learn at the pace most suitable for their own growth with Final Cut Pro, and the student is free to direct the focus of the lesson toward the specific area on which they would like to concentrate. Bato - Jan 11, 2012 I am so happy I found this place to do my FCPX training!! I had done a few classes at various schools and didn't really learn much. So I decided on this place and it was awesome! The one on one training is really the way to go if you want to learn quickly. I did the online Extreme package because I wanted to work on my project in my Mac Pro and couldn't afford the onsite training. It really was like the trainer was right next to me. He could even take control of my screen to show me things I couldn't understand. After the 5 classes I feel like I could edit anything. My trainer was excellent!!! He was patient and extremely knowledgeable. He showed me techniques that made my videos look 10 times more professional than they did before. The price is right too!! I would highly recommend taking classes here.

In 2008, I took a class before I embarked on my documentary, and now realize how vital it was. Yesterday, I returned to get some one-on-one instruction on the new FINAL CUT PRO X. Another excellent session! Seth drilled down into my system and set all the preferences correctly and then we proceeded to explore the new features, create workflows, and like the last time, make me realize how worthwhile an experience it was. If you're a seasoned editor or someone looking for basic instruction. This is the place.
"I never thought I would be one of the testimonials, but I do need to let you know my progress since your class. After the initial shock of accepting a job in FCP...and having only 2 weeks to be as efficient and fast as I am on an AVID. I have to say that John got me through the transition fast enough that I had no problem on the job. Considering I walked in the door of his place with nothing but a bad attitude about this forced transition, he persevered and was so personable I couldn't help but accept the change with his open arms. It was incredibly helpful, and fun -- totally got up to speed on everything we needed to learn to create polished videos for our organization. Very hands-on, concrete instruction so you really learn how to do it -- not wasting time with unnecessary info. Highly recommend.

John :-) yes John, was awesome and helped me so much. I can't get over how much quicker i am editing now, multi camera work, now a breeze. I wish i had come to this class sooner, so if you are on the fence, don't wait any longer. Book in some time with here and you will not regret it. Good Luck.
I've been a photographer in NYC for 23 years and when I decided I'd like to move into film editing, I found Final Cut Pro Classes and it was the best learning experience I could have hoped for!!! My teacher was thorough, patient, knowledgable and streamlined my class experience towards my particular areas of interest. I couldn't have had a better experience and..now I'm editing my own films!!!! Final Cut Pro was an intimidating software program for me until I studied with Final Cut Pro Classes.

Coming from an AVID editing background it was great that John was also a former AVID person.We were able to instantly speak the same language. His teaching style made me realize how intuitive FCP is. With two classes, I am able to cut with proficiency. I understand the menu's and know how to do alot more than just the basics. He was open to questions and always made sure I understood the topic before going on to another one.What I liked the most was the fact that I could ask advanced questions (because of my AVID background) and John explained the answers to me in a way I could quickly relate to. I have worked in television news for years, but as a producer I usually leave the editing to the professionals. I finally decided to unlock the secrets of the process for myself. Armed with very little knowledge I signed up for a five-class series on FCP. The instructor was extremely patient, even when he had to repeat the same lesson. After going over the basics, he encouraged me to experiment, just to see what FCP could do. And he never lost his sense of humor. Very important. I now have the program at home, and once I get more proficient at it I would not hesitate to take more advanced classes.
